Touring the "PHILIPPINES

Travel Vacations Destination


I would like to take this opportunity to share with you our journey our travel experiences and through our pictures walk you along this exotic and exciting country of Philippines.

Our journey began on a motorbike, a Motoposh-SBK200cc, a backpack with a Laptop, Cameras, and a carry bag with personal items.

We left Dipolog City for Dapitan port-terminal Zamboanga del Norte, Monday 24 January 2011, here we boarded a ferry, 6 hours later we arrived in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, here we stayed overnight, courtesy of Camila Hotel.

Today, we left Dumaguete City, riding north along National Road then across to Mabinay City Negros Oriental, along the way we stopped at ECONOTEL Mabinay, a very nice place for travelers, then we continue our journey, we stopped at Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, courtesy of Monbela Tourist Inn.

This morning we traveled back 11 kilometers to visit one of the wonders of this country, a must see tourist destination, the Mag-asa Falls, famous for their blue and green color waterfalls, Kabankalan City Negros Occidental, after our visit here, we continued our journey north.

Late in the afternoon, we arrived at Bacolod City port-terminal, Negros Occidental, here we took a Ferry, 4 hours later we arrived at Panay Island, Dumangas City port-terminal, from here we rode our Motorbike to Iloilo City, here we stopped for the night.

This morning, we left Iloilo City, a 6 hour trip riding north passing through some breathtaking sceneries, to Caticlan, port-terminal, Aklan, we visited the Tourist Information Centre, thanks for their courtesy, help and support to make possible for us to visit Boracay Island.

Today we met with a delegate from the tourist office, we arrived in Boracay at Noe’s Cottage, here we stayed 3 days, a motorbike was provided for us as vehicles are not allowed to be brought into the Island, we visited the west side of Boracay Island, and the very peaceful and tranquil corner of West Cove Resorts at Diniwid Beach.

Following our short stay in Boracay we returned back to mainland, we left Caticlan City, port-terminal, crossing the Sultan Bank sea for 6 and half hours, we arrived at Roxas port-terminal, Mindoro Island, late in the afternoon the locals offered generous accommodation.

Today we left Roxas City Mindoro, we rode our bike north along the east coast until we arrived at Calapan City Mindoro, we stopped here and we visit our motorbike service center, as our bike needed some service attention.

This morning we left Calapan for Puerto Galera, on our way, we stopped to visit, Tamaraw Falls and the local tourist shops, later, we continued riding and we arrived at Puerto Galera, but only small boats will carry passengers not vehicles or motorbikes, so we turned back to Calapan City, where we took a ferry, 3 hours later we arrived at Batangas, here we stopped for the night.

Today we left Batangas City, heading for Manila, as we approached the Tollway we were refused entrance, only Motorbikes 400cc engines and about are allowed, so we modified our navigational plan, we took the national Road instead, after riding for more than 4 hours through heavy traffic finally we arrived in Manila.

Wednesday 9 February 2011, we began our return heading south, along National Highway, we passed Calamba then at Santo Tomas we turned left and continued riding along Pan-Philippines Highway, to San Pablo, Tiaong, Candelaria, Sariaya, Pagbilao, Atimonan, Gumaca, Lopez, Calauag, Quezon, here we stopped for the night, courtesy Villa Paraiso Hotel & Restaurant

Today we continued our jurney riding South passing through, Tagkawayan, then we entered into Camarines Sur region, Del Gallego, we arrived at Lagonoy, here we met the proprietor of the Lagonoy Hotel, who invited us for the next morning to visit his other Hotel at Precentacion Camarines Sur.

Today we left Lagonoy City and we headed back 10 kilometers, to Sabang Port Camarines Sur, here we met the Hotel proprietor waiting for us at the Fish Market, he had organized a small boat to carry us to the Island to visit his Aguirangan View Hotel at precentacion.

After our visit to the Aguirangan View Hotel, a boat carried us back to Sabang Port, we prepared our Motorbike and left, heading back to Lagonoy City, then San Jose, Goa, after Tigao we turned left passing through, Legazpi here we made a stop to visit  the majestic and misterios, Mount Mayon-Vocano, we continued riding, through heavy rain and strong wins, arriving at  Sorsogon here we sotpped for the night, cortesy of  Tentyard Hotel & Restaurant Sorsogon City.

Today we continued our trip to our last destination of this Island, we arrived at Matnog City port-terminal, here we took a ferry to cross over to the next Island, 2 hours later we arrived at Allen City port-terminal, Northern Samar Island.

We left Allen City port-terminal after checking out, we continued riding south, for two hours, again we encounter winds and heavy rain, we arrived late in the evening to Calbayog City, here we staid, Courtesy La Vista Pensionne.

This morning, we continued our trip heading south, we are about to cross the famous San Juanico Bridge, a few minutes later we arrived in Tacloban City Leyte, here we stopped from our trip, we visited the great shopping malls we rested for the night, courtesy of ES PARK INN Tacloban City.

Monday 15 February 2011, this morning before we left Tacloban City we visited the famous, General Douglas MacArthur Park, Palo, Leyte, Philippines, a national treasure of this City and a must see historic tourist destination.

As we continue our journey we are crossing through the mountainous region of Guindaugon, famous for their occasional massive landslides, here we reached the end of the island, at Liloan City port-terminal.

We left Liloan City port-terminal on a ferry for our next destination, 4 hour later, we arrived at Lipata City port-terminal Surigao del Norte, we continued riding on motorbike, arriving at Gingoog, here we stayed over night Coutesy of Century Pension House.

Today we will be riding our last and final trip of our jurney, a 400 kilometres with two stops, we departed from Gingoog City at 11am, we rode through, Balingasg, Jasaan, Tagoloan, Cagayan de Oro, Opol, El Salvador, first stop, Iligan City.


we continued riding and we arrived at Mukas Ferry Terminal, we a boarded a ferry crossing over to Ozamis City Ferry Terminal, from here we continued riding passing through Dapitan City and last, back to where our jurney began Dipolog City Zamboanga del Norte, Mindanao, arriving, Thursday 17 February 2011, 7pm.
